Dean M. Wilkes

Dean Morrow Wilkes, 92, of Royersford, PA passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026.

He was born in Upper Darby, Pa on September 25, 1933, the son of the late Dr. Carroll and Dorothy (Batchelor) Wilkes.

Dean had been living in Royersford since 2013, formerly of Collegeville and he grew up in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, Pa.

He worked as a Electronics Design Engineer.

He was the husband of Late - Antoinette "Ann" ( Barile ) Wilkes.

Survivors include, Son Edward (Lysa) Wilkes of LaFollette, TN, Daughter Janine Mello of St Cloud, Fl, Son Anthony Wilkes of  Royersford, Pa, Brother Richard C. Wilkes of Philadelphia, Pa, also survived by his Grandchildren William, Justin, Nichole, Daniel, Jacob, Gabriel, Sarah and Joseph, and Great Grandchildren John, Xander, Jameson, Landen, Cale, Rowan and Ellie.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his brothers Carroll B. Wilkes, Ralph V. Wilkes and his sister Blanche M. Graham.

His Funeral Mass will be held Friday, May 15 , 2026 at 10:30 AM from Sacred Heart RC Church, 838 Walnut Street, Royersford, PA.

Friends may call on Thursday Evening, May 14 , 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA.  There will not be a viewing on Friday morning.

Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Philadelphia, PA.
