David Walton Morgan, age 62, of Collegeville, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 23, 2024, at his home.

He was born in Bryn Mawr, PA, on April 18, 1962, the son of Kenneth Lewis Morgan and Carol Morgan (née Walton). Dave was raised in Ambler and has been a resident of Collegeville since 1989.

A proud Penn State alumnus, Dave graduated in 1984 with a bachelor's degree in accounting. He enjoyed a successful career as a certified public accountant, founding Morgan Consulting Group in Trappe, PA, while also serving as Chief Financial Officer of Precision Metal Services. Throughout his career, Dave took great pride in supporting many local businesses and giving back to his community.

He enjoyed spending time at Eagle Rock Resort of Hazle Twp., PA, with his beloved black lab, Lady. Dave volunteered with Boy Scout Troop 7155 and was especially proud when his son, Jack, achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a lifelong Phillies and Eagles fan and loved attending games with his family.

Dave is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Carol Morgan of Lansdale, PA; daughter, Katherine Morgan (Clark Pierce) of Dallas, TX; two sons, Matthew Morgan (Sarah Giegerich) of Philadelphia, PA and Jack Morgan of Collegeville, PA; brother, Gary Morgan (Karen) of Worcester, PA; and former spouse, Joanne Ostrander Morgan of Limerick, PA. He is also survived by his niece, Nicole Morgan; and nephew, Ryan Morgan.

Dave was preceded in death by his sisters, Pamela Susan Morgan and Linda Elizabeth Morgan.

His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 11:30 AM from St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Friday evening, December 27 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426 and on Saturday morning, December 28 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the Church prior to Mass.

Interment will take place in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
