In Loving Memory of Cora Tregea Keohane

September 14, 1930 – April 7, 2025

Cora Tregea Keohane —a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to her family and to helping others—passed away at the age of 94. She was born on September 14, 1930, in Skippack, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late John and Mary (née Brook) Tregea.

Cora graduated from Lansdale High School and went on to earn her nursing degree from Montgomery Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a registered nurse and continued to practice even after retiring—a true testament to her heart and dedication.

She lived in Limerick for over thirty years after raising her family in Audubon and Norristown. Cora was tough, loving, and funny. Her dry wit shaped how her family moves through life, always finding ways to laugh together, even during life's hardest moments. She loved quilting, the Phillies, and Villanova basketball.

She is survived by her children: John Keohane of Villanova, Karen Weikel of Pottstown, Susan Keohane of Schwenksville, and Kevin (Joanne) Keohane of Royersford. Cora was a proud grandmother to Erin, Kari, John, Christopher, Michelle, and Kevin, as well as a great-grandmother to Ryan, Connor, Evan, Cora, Tiernan, Aslynn, Isabella, Grace, Lorne, and Madelyn.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: John Tregea, Mary Burychka, and Dorothy Cunningham.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Christian United Church of Christ, 2009 Church Road, Skippack, PA 19474.

The family will receive relatives and friends for visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
