Constance C. Read, age 88, of Lafayette Hill, PA passed away on Friday, November 4, 2022 surrounded by her caring family.

She was born in Stamford, CT on April 14, 1934, the daughter of the late George Peter and Barbara (Foster) Calass.

Connie has been a resident of the Masonic Village at Lafayette Hill for one year. She was a member of St. James' Episcopal Church in Collegeville, PA. She bred and showed dogs, mostly Doberman Pinschers and Manchester Terriers. She loved reading and the beach.

She is survived by three daughters, Gale Gordon (Bonnie Pogue-Gordon) of Spring City, PA, Georgienne (Todie) Barnett of Lewes, DE, and Connie O'Brien of Trappe, PA; and a son, Robert (Brenda) Gordon, Jr. of Stowe, PA; sister, Deborah Feli of Newtown, CT; four grandchildren, Heather Lynn (Joseph) Altieri, Angelique Gordon, James Slifer and Dawn Slifer; and 11 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Robert Gordon, Franklin J. Mayes and Kenneth Read; son in-law, Wallace O'Brien; brother in-law, Peter Feli; and three grandsons, Christopher O'Brien, Robert C. Gordon III, and Christopher Slifer, Sr.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA 19426.

Her Funeral Service will be held Wednesday morning at 11:00 AM from St. James' Episcopal Church, 3768 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, PA 19426.

Interment will take place in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the St. James Outreach House, 3768 Germantown Pike, Collegeville, PA 19426.
