Clifford La Vair

Clifford La Vair, 94, of West Norriton, PA passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024.

He was born and raised in Winthrop, New York on May 6, 1929, the son of the late Wilbur and the late Charlotte ( Newtown ) La Vair.

Clifford lived most of his life in West Norriton, PA.

He served in the Army during the Korean war, where he received the Germany Occupation Medal.

He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Clifford worked with Phoenixville Steel, Alan Wood Steel, National Cylinder Gas and he retired from Smith Kline.

He was the husband of the late Joan ( Elliott ) LaVair.

Clifford is survived by Daughter Kathleen (& James) Kowalski of Norristown, Son Clifford M. (& Tina) La Vair of Trooper, Brother Charles E. La Vair of NY. Also survived by his grandchildren Jennifer, Keith, Heather, Leah (& Declan) and James, and great grandchildren Julia, Nicholas, Michael, Méabh and Paul Michael, as well as his Extended Family Paul Fragale, Meagan Rodgers and Nicole Hennessey.

Along with his wife and parents he was preceded in death by his five sisters and four brothers.

His Memorial Service will be held Friday, January 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 19 East Germantown Pike, East Norriton, PA, with Fr. John Stokely officiating.

Friends may call on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery.
