Claire C. Cantono, 84, of Paoli, PA passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pa on October 29, 1940, the daughter of the late William and the late Elizabeth (McQuillen) Cantono.

Claire spent her childhood in Philadelphia. Her early years were at the Cottman and Castor area of Philadelphia. Claire attended Resurrection Parish school thru 5th grade. The family moved to the Mount Airy section of Philadelphia in 1950. There she finished grades 6 thru 8 at St Theresa's parish school. She then attended Mount St . Joseph Academy for high school and her college years were at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating in 1962.

During the 1960's Claire worked at her Aunt's hat shop in Chestnut Hill. In the late 1960's Claire was employed at Colonial Penn Insurance Company in Philadelphia. After moving to Paoli in 1978 Claire became a Real Estate Agent for the Weichert Agency.

Claire also enjoyed spending her summers at Harvey Cedars NJ. She enjoyed sailing her sailboat in Barnegat bay. While at the

shore in the summers she worked as a baby sitter, and as she got older she worked as a waitress . There were also many friends

and family gatherings.

She is survived by her Brother, Lawrence Cantono of North Wales, Pa and a Sister, Joan Tool, of Surf City, NJ

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her brother William Cantono.

Her service and Interment will be private.
