Cheryl L. Wager

Cheryl L. (Mullen) Wager, 78, of Collegeville, PA passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA on January 4, 1945, the only daughter of the late Elmer and the late Helen (Drumheller) Mullen.

She attended Stewart Middle School in Norristown, PA, and Alexis I. duPont High School in Wilmington, DE.

She was an Administrative Assistant for the Office of Academic Affairs at Ursinus College for over 25 years.

Cheryl had lived in Collegeville, PA for 47 years. She was the very devoted and loving wife of the late Carl H. Wager, who passed away in 2015. They were together for over 60 years and married on September 12, 1964.

Survivors include her daughter Shannon (Dave) Conard of Trappe, and her granddaughter Courtney D. Conard. She is also survived by her cousins Deborah Easter, Candy Thompson, Sandra Tyrell, and Alexander Drumheller, and her very dear friend of over 40 years, Sandra Pinter.

Cheryl along with her late husband Carl were the godparents of their life-long friends Ron and Pat Sporka's children Drew, Ryan and Keri. She was also godparent to her life long friend Susan Grear' son Andrew Grear. Cheryl's also surviving members of her family circle include her nephew Jeff (Marge) Hofman as well as niece Lori (Kevin) Shirley, and cousins Amanda Harris and Shane Harris.

She was a sweet and kind lady who loved to laugh. Her smile could light up a room and she will be missed sorely by her family and friends.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 10:30 AM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA.

Friends may call on Friday, September 15, 2023 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.

The interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park in Plymouth Meeting, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38104.
