Carl Frank Santoro




Carl Frank Santoro, 77, of Collegeville, PA passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, September 22, 2023.




He was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania on March 14, 1946, the son of the late Jasper and Kathryn (Subranni) Santoro. Carl later married Carolyn Wolfe on August 2, 1969.




Carl was a 1964 graduate of Catasauqua High School. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Special Ed. from Kutztown University, where he was a valuable member on the football team. Carl later earned a Master's degree in Education from Bloomsburg University.




Carl was a Special Education Teacher for Methacton School District for over 36 years before retiring in 2004. He was also beloved for his role as a longtime coach of the football team at Methacton High School. While in the Methacton School District he was also a member of the Methacton Schoolman's club.




Carl loved his Philadelphia Eagles and often hosted parties with many friends and relatives. He cherished his time golfing with his many golf buddies, which culminated every year with the "Extravamanza". Carl was also a faithful member of St. Eleanor's Roman Catholic Church.




He was the devoted husband of 54 years of Carolyn (Wolfe) Santoro. In addition to his wife, survivors include Daughter Amy (John) Schall, Daughter Tiffany Santoro, Daughter Brandolyn Santoro, 4 Grandchildren Jenna, Johnny, Ryker, and Moxon, Brother Thomas Santoro, Brother Joseph (Diana) Santoro, Brother Kenneth (Mary) Santoro, as well as many nieces and nephews.




His Memorial Mass will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM from St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA.




Friends may call on Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 West Main Street, Trappe, PA.




Friends may also call on Friday, September 29, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Eleanor's RC Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA before mass.




Interment will be private for family at a later date in Limerick Garden of Memories.
