Branden W. Maurer

Branden W. Maurer, 28, of Glenside, PA passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

He was born in Abington, PA on August 13, 1997, the son of Christopher W. Scanlan and the late Susan Renee Maurer.

He was a graduate of Abington High School. After graduating, he went on to become a bar manager with Mad Max in Willow Grove, PA and a merchandiser with Coca Cola. Branden enjoyed attending concerts, listening to music, snowboarding, gaming, his love for his cats, movies and spending time with his friends.

Survivors include father Christopher Scanlan of Norristown, sister Brittney (Christian Wagner) Maurer, niece Saige Wagner of Southampton, grandmothers Edith Maurer of Glenside and Rosemarie Scanlan of Norristown, and aunt Lori Scanlan of West Norriton.

He was preceded in death by his mother Susan Maurer.

His Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 10:30 from Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home.

Friends may call on Thursday, July 9, 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
