Anna Marie (Maura) King Buri, 89, of Gulph Mills, PA passed away Monday, January 30, 2023.

She was born May 11, 1933 in Castleblayney, County Monaghan, Ireland the late James and the late Margaret (Meegan) King. She was one of nine children.

She grew up in Enniscorthy, County Wexford, Irelend before moving to the United States in 1958.

Maura worked at the Villanova Law School Library for 54 years before retiring in 2013. It was at Villanova where she met her husband of 28 years, William Buri.

Maura was known forn her stories of Ireland, love for her grandchildren, all things Villanova and the Philadelphia Phillies.

She was preceded in death by her husband William, parents James and Margaret (Meegan) King and her siblings Bernard, Philomena, Brenda, Matthew, Thomas, Desmond and Florence.

She is survived by her brother James King, children William (& Aggie) Buri of King of Prussia, Maura Buri of Gulph Mills and Patricia (& Michael) Staunton of Co. Monaghan, Ireland. As well as her grandchildren Caitlin, Bobby, Breanna, Niamh, Aoife and Michael.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday evening, February 2, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428 and in Church on Friday morning, February 3, 2023 from 9:30 to 10:15 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM, St. Matthew RC Church, 219 Fayette St., Conshohocken, PA 19428.

Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, West Conshohocken.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to: CHOP, 550 S. Goddard Blvd, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
